Privacy policy

What information Page Coupon collects, how we use cookies and analytics, what we share with third parties, and the rights you have over your data.

Last updated:

Plain-English summary: Page Coupon does not require you to create an account, log in, or hand over personal information to read the site. We collect a small amount of anonymous traffic data (which pages were viewed, where visitors came from) and we set a few cookies to keep the site working and to count clicks on outbound deal links. Some outbound links are affiliate links — if you buy something through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The full detail is below.

1. Who we are

"Page Coupon," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the editorial team operating pagecoupon.com (the "Site"). For privacy questions, including data access, correction, and deletion requests, contact privacy@pagecoupon.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the minimum needed to keep the Site running and improve the editorial product. Specifically:

  • Server log files. Like virtually every web host, our servers automatically record IP address, user agent (browser and device class), the URL requested, the referring URL, and a timestamp. Logs are used for security monitoring (rate limiting, abuse detection) and aggregate traffic reporting. Raw logs are retained for up to 30 days, then discarded or anonymised.
  • Anonymous analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics product to count page views, referring sources, country (derived from IP), and device class. Analytics events do not include names, email addresses, or any other personal identifier you have not given us yourself.
  • Outbound click events. When you click "Reveal code" or an outbound deal link, we record the event so we know which offers are useful and can detect when codes stop working faster. The event payload contains the deal slug and a coarse timestamp — no PII.
  • Form submissions. If you message us through the contact page or email us directly, we receive the email address you sent from and the content of your message. We use that information only to reply.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not run targeted advertising on the Site.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage mechanisms:

  • Strictly necessary cookies / localStorage. Used to remember which coupon codes you have already revealed during your session so the UI doesn't re-prompt you. These are first-party and do not leave your browser.
  • Analytics cookies. Used by our analytics provider to distinguish unique sessions in aggregate. They do not identify you personally.
  • Affiliate-network cookies. When you click an outbound deal link, the destination affiliate network (the vendor's network — not us) typically sets a cookie on the vendor's domain to attribute the eventual purchase. We do not control or read those cookies; they are governed by the vendor's and the network's own privacy policies.

You can clear or block any of these from your browser settings without breaking the Site. If you are in a region that requires a consent banner (UK/EEA), you will see one on first visit and your choice is stored locally.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small set of third parties to deliver the Site. Each one has its own privacy policy; we link to them on request via privacy@pagecoupon.com.

  • Hosting / CDN — serves the static site and edge-caches images.
  • Privacy-respecting analytics — aggregate page-view metrics.
  • Email delivery — handles contact-form replies.
  • Affiliate networks — handle commission tracking on outbound clicks.

We do not embed third-party ad servers, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking widgets on the Site.

5. FTC affiliate disclosure

FTC Disclosure: In compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 — Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising, we disclose that Page Coupon is reader-supported. Many outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through and complete a qualifying purchase, Page Coupon may earn a commission from the vendor — at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial decisions: a code is either verified at checkout or it isn't, regardless of the commission rate. We do not accept payment to publish, prioritise, or remove deals. Brand mentions and logos referenced in our editorial are for identification only and do not imply endorsement of Page Coupon by those brands.

The full FTC endorsement guides are available at ftc.gov.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over the personal data we hold about you. Subject to applicable law:

  • EEA / UK (GDPR & UK GDPR): right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability.
  • California (CCPA / CPRA): right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Page Coupon does not sell personal information.
  • Everywhere else: we will honour reasonable requests on the same terms.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@pagecoupon.com. We may ask for enough information to verify the request relates to you. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

Server logs: up to 30 days, then discarded or anonymised. Analytics: aggregate counts retained indefinitely; raw event-level data retained no longer than 14 months. Contact-form correspondence: retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, then archived or deleted.

8. Children

Page Coupon is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact privacy@pagecoupon.com and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

The Site is hosted on a global CDN and our service providers may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the EEA. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms to legitimise those transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
